Cleaning Up the Horizon Cloud Environment
Objective and Tasks
Use the Horizon Cloud and Workspace ONE Access monitoring sections:
- Remove the Horizon Cloud Service Node
- Delete All the Resources Created in Workspace ONE Access
- Delete All the Resources Created in Azure
You delete all the resources running on the edge.
- Go to https://connect.omnissa.com in a web browser.
- Log in to the Omnissa Cloud Services console.
- User name: horizonseals<student_number>
- Password: Omnissa1!Omnissa1!
- Under Horizon Cloud, click LAUNCH.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Resources > Pool Groups.
- Select the check box next to each pool group and click Delete.
- Click Delete in the Delete pop-up window.
- Repeat this action until all the pool groups have been removed.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Desktop & app catalog.
- Click the App Volumes tab.
- Select the Adobe Acrobat check box and select Unentitle from the ENTITLEMENTS drop-down menu.
- Select the user and click UNENTITLE.
- Select the Adobe Acrobat check box and click DELETE.
- Click Delete in the Delete pop-up window.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Resources > Pools.
- On the Pools page, select all the check boxes and click DELETE.
- Click DELETE in the Delete Pools pop-up window.
- Do not proceed to the next step until all the pools are deleted. This process might take up to 5 to 10 minutes. You can refresh the page using the refresh arrow.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Resources > Images.
- For each image, click the name and click the version.
- Scroll down to see if any system pools exist.
- If any system pools exist, delete them first and then delete the version.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Resources > Capacity.
- Select your edge and then select Unified Access Gateway from the DELETE drop-down menu.
- Click DELETE in the UAG Delete pop-up window.
- This process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not continue to the next step until the process is completed.
- Select your edge and then select Horizon Edge Gateway from the DELETE drop-down menu.
- Click DELETE in the Edge Delete pop-up window.
- This process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not continue to the next step until the process is completed.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Capacity and then click the Providers tab.
- Select your provider and click DELETE.
- Click the Sites tab and select Default and click DELETE.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Integrations > Identity & Access > MANAGE.
- Click the SSO Configurations tab.
- Click the ellipsis icon next to the SSO configuration and select Delete.
- Click DELETE in the Delete pop-up window.
- On the Domains tab, select techseals.co and click DELETE.
- On the Identity Provider page, click DISCONNECT.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Settings.
- Under Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager, click MANAGE and delete DEM-techseals.
- Click the notifications (bell) icon and click CLEAR.
- Ensure that Dark Mode is set to off.
You delete all the resources running in Workspace ONE Access.
- Go to https://connect.omnissa.com in a web browser and log in.
- User name: horizonseals<student_number>
- Password: Omnissa1!Omnissa1!
- Under Access, click LAUNCH.
- Click the Integrations tab and select Directories in the left navigation pane.
- Click techseals.co Directory Name.
- Click DELETE
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Connectors.
- Select WS1-CC-<student_number>.techseals.co and click MANAGE.
- Click DELETE for each service.
- Click the Settings tab and select User Attributes in the left navigation pane.
- Under Custom Attributes, remove the four attributes which your have added.
You delete all the resources running on Microsoft Azure.
- Go to the Azure portal and log in again if necessary.
- User name: <company>.<full_name>.<student_number>
- Password: Omnissa1!Omnissa1!
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Virtual machines.
- Select WS1-CC-<student_number> and click Delete.
- In the Delete pop-up window, select the Apply force delete for selected Virtual machines check box.
- Enter Yes in the Confirm delete text box.
- Click Delete.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Load Balancers and then click <geo>hcsmadm>UAG-LB-<student_number>.
- Under Settings, click Backend pools.
- Expand the back-end pool and click the Delete icon.
- On the Delete pop-up window, select the I have read and understood that this backend pool check box and click Delete.
- In the navigation pane on the left, select Virtual networks and click your Azure Virtual Network (VNet).
- Navigate to the Peerings page.
- Select your peering, click the ellipsis icon, and select Delete.
- In the Delete virtual network peering pop-up window, click Yes.
- Click Overview and then click the Delete icon.
- In the Delete virtual network pop-up window, click Yes.
