In this task, you will attempt to connect to a desktop via HTML.
- Login to ControlCenter (Landing Desktop)
- Username:administrator
- password:Pa$$w0rd
- On the ControlCenter desktop, open the Firefox Browser.
- Open a new browser tab and enter the following address:
- https://horizon-01b.techseals.co/portal/webclient/index.html
- Note: This will open up the Omnissa Horizon HTML Access portal.
- Enter the following credentials:
- User name: Kevin
- Password: Pa$$w0rd
- Select Login.
Note: You will get a message back stating that the user is not entitled to use the system.
In this task, you gather the HAR log file.
- From the same browser connection already opened, right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect (Q).
- Select the Network tab.
- Click Reload from the center pane.
- The recording will only autostart once you start performing actions in the browser.
- You will notice that activity is being captured in the Network Tab
- Try to login with the Kevin user once more. This will ensure that the issue is captured and that the recording was initiated.
- Once you see the message saying that the user is not entitled once more you can gather the HAR log file.
- Note: It's important to reproduce the issue so that it is captured in the recording.
- Right-click anywhere in the File Section of the Network tab and select Save All As HAR.
- Change the location to the desktop and select Save.
- Close the open Firefox browser.
- Navigate to the Desktop as the file location.
- Once saved, the HAR file can be viewed using Notepad++.
