Lab 5: Using profiles to manage Apple devices
Introduction
Device Profiles are the primary method for managing devices in Workspace ONE UEM. They encapsulate the settings that, when combined with compliance policies, facilitate the enforcement of corporate rules and procedures. You can create profiles for each platform type and configure a payload, which comprises the specific settings you want to configure on devices.
Many profile payloads are restricted to iOS devices that are supervised. However, the profiles you’ll create during these exercises won’t be restricted by device supervision status. The process of creating profiles for supervised devices is the same as for non-supervised devices.
