8. Using AppCapture.exe to capture Packages
As a minimum requirement, you must complete Lab 2 , Lab 6 and Lab 12, Lab 15, Lab 16 and Lab 17 before starting this lab.
- On your ControlCenter server desktop
- select and open the Remote Desktops > Site 1 folder
- In the Site 1 folder
- select and launch the appvolprov-01a.RDP shortcut
- In the Site 1 folder
- select and open the Remote Desktops > Site 1 folder
- On the appVolprov-01a desktop
- select and open the software shortcut
- In the File Explorer window
- Software folder
- browse to the App Volumes > 2412 > Installation folder
- select and Launch Setup.msi
- In the App Volumes Installer Setup wizard
- select Next
- In the App Volumes Installer Setup wizard
- next to Install App Volumes Tools
- select the radio button
- at the bottom of the window
- select Install

- launch the Google Chrome browser
- validate that the Chrome Browser is running
- when done Close the Chrome Browser
- select the Google Chrome shortcut
- On the appVolProv-01a Desktop
